 Wreck It Ralph - Banner

My enthusiasm for this movie just Level'd-Up!

Magic-Mike Topslice

After its surprise success, Channing Tatum is planning a sequel to Magic Mike and will possibly seat himself in the director's chair.

“Don't let Alan drive, because there's something wrong with him”

Principal photography has just begun on The Hangover Part 3 and this time they are trying something different.

Paddy Considine joins The World's End

After a wonderful comic turn in Hot Fuzz, Paddy Considine is set to reunite with the Simon Pegg/Nick Frost/Edgar Wright creative triple threat for upcoming sci-fi/comedy The World’s End.

 Seven Psychopaths - Red-Band - Topslice

A new red-band trailer for Seven Psychopaths has been released, showcasing some of the film’s stars dropping the F-Bomb and acting like they have a few minor problems to deal with!

 Sightseers - top slice

Following his brilliant debut with black comic housing estate gangster flick Down Terrace and last year's transcendentally horrifying Kill List, Ben Wheatley is a British talent to watch.

Following up a bona fide masterpiece of British horror cinema has to be a tough prospect, thankfully Wheatley side-steps expectation, much in the way he did from Down Terrace to Kill List, by producing something completely different.

Ahead of the premier of his film, Hotel Transylvania, at the Toronto International Film Festival, director Genndy Tartakovsky has been speaking with The LA Times, explaining how he maintained his visual and creative identity by pushing computer animation in new directions.

Beverly Hills Cop Top Slice

Beverly Hills Cop came at a time when Eddie Murphy was unstoppable. He was in full command of his charisma and the movie was a rock solid cop movie, engaging and edgy in a way only '80s comedies could.

Recent news stated that Murphy would be returning to the role of Axel Foley for a Brett Ratner directed sequel. That, thankfully, turned out to be a dead-end. Now the future of the Foley family name lies on the small screen.

With a script co-penned by the team behind Superbad and co-starring a comedy dream team, The Watch almost looks set to reignite the sci-fi comedy genre. Almost. While the mechanics behind it seem promising, once the cogs are set in motion it becomes clear that the Stiller/Vaughn engine has run out of steam, and there is little that even Richard Ayoade can do about it.

Following the £45 million success of The Inbetweeners Movie last year, it was inevitable that other UK comedy programmes would want a bite of the cherry and so now we are subjected to a feature length big screen outing for Leigh Francis' Leeds lothario Keith Lemon.
