After last week's news that Colin Trevorrow had found a field with some trees in it as the location for the fictional Isla Nublar, it seems that Jurassic Park IV has once again been put on hold. With just over a year until its supposed release, it comes as a large blow for the film which has struggled at every turn to get moving.

Here is the first image from the upcoming Jurassic Park IV from Safety Not Guaranteed director, Colin Trevorrow. At least, we think it is.

It's hard to review a score like Jurassic Park. John Williams' score has been deservedly embedded in our unconscious since 1993, and like Jaws has become a theme for sharks as a species, it's hard to think about dinosaurs without recalling the enthralling themes from Steven Spielberg's monster hit. Unbelievably this year is the film's 20th anniversary, and while there has been a massive hoo-hah about the cinema re-release in 3D, something else has snuck out unnoticed: a brand new remastered edition of the soundtrack, complete with four bonus tracks!
Once upon a time, Colin Trevorrow made a little film called Safety Not Guaranteed. It was a Sundance sensation, that movie propelled him into the big leagues as he was quickly attached as a possible frontrunner for the Star Wars Episode VII gig. It turns out Trevorrow is actually attached to another unexpected sequel to a billion-dollar franchise; as he was just announced as the director for Jurassic Park 4.

Boy, James Cameron sure has been saying a lot of stuff this week. The King of the World has been appearing in the news repeatedly this week, while promoting the Blu Ray release of Titanic 3D. So ubiquitous were his words that it became an exercise in futility even trying to keep up with the guy!
Instead, here is a handy collection of all the shit that James Cameron has said this week.

There is good news for fans of franchise reboots (they allegedly exist) as Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, the scribes responsible for last year’s excellent revival of the Planet Of The Apes franchise, have been signed to write the screenplay for the belated fourth entry in the Jurassic Park series.
