Gaze in awe at Pacific Rim's penultimate Jaeger poster, the terror from Down Under, Strike Eureka.

After squaring up the Japan's Coyote Tango and Russia's Cherno Alpha, it is time to meet China's last line of defence against the monstrous Kaiju, the red menace known as Crimson Typhoon.
A brisk walk down the yellow road of classic cinema, enhanced with a breeze of ingenuity and rays of visual energy characterizes the new motion picture Oz: The Great and Powerful. The latest spin on L. Frank Baum’s classic nouvelle takes the sorcery and illusion of the timeless wizard and replaces it with the tricks and tactics of a turn of the century circus performer turned sly hero figure. Oscar Diggs (James Franco) is a sideshow illusionist with a less than convincing act that stirs controversy and twists brows, causing fans to boo and children to grumble. He is there to sell lies, chase skirts, and make money.

The previous Pacific Rim highlighted Japan's Jaeger defender, Coyote Tango, and as expected we have yet another Jaeger bomb to drop on our readers.

We saw a snippet of this image in the trailer, blurry stills captured, but this is the first clear look at the Kaiju corpse transportation. The image, which Legendary Pictures tweeted recently, came with the caption: "The infamous first Kaiju, Trespasser, slaughtered hundreds of thousands."

Following on from the news a few days ago that Alan Ritchson has been cast as Raphael in the upcoming Ninja Turtles, Raphael's brothers have now been cast!
Beautiful. Compelling. Confusing. These are some of the best ways to describe 009 Re: Cyborg. Constructed from the building blocks of Shotaro Ishinomori's renowned manga, the film features some of the most impressive animation in the 3D medium seen since Avatar. It's just a shame that the story couldn't stand up to the same high quality.

Alan Ritchson, soon to be seen in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and known to some as Arthur Curry in Smallville, has been announced for the role of Raphael in the upcoming Ninja Turtles. He is the first Turtle to be cast in Jonathan Liebesman's reboot and joins Megan Fox as April O'Neil.

First a footprint. Then a bloody mess. Now we get even more stills from the aftermath of a Kaiju/Jaeger throwdown from Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim.
