Recently a story was posted about Dan, a Star Trek fan who had been diagnosed with 2 types of cancer. Dan hoped to see the prologue for Star Trek Into Darkness, playing before The Hobbit. Well, if a horror movie ever wanted to make an impression, it's the Evil Dead remake. From it's hyperbolic poster to its frantic, wince-inducing teaser, Fede Alvarez’s remake of the Sam Raimi classic has endeavoured to grab you by the throat and shake you until you damn well take noitice. The latest trailer is no different, instead of using the extended length to create a build-up, the new red-band trailer prefers to spend that extra time bathing in gore.
