 song-for-marion trailer topslice

This trailer points to a film so predictable I could’ve knocked up a passable script on the spot. A script that would echo “Calendar Girls” in showing how jolly inspirational death is.

I almost questioned whether The Wolverine would see the light of day; the latest cinematic outing of everyone's favourite X-Man saw the regrettable loss of director Darren Aronofsky (before going on to bigger and brighter things) and a series of delays. Finally, the production found a director in 3:10 To Yuma's James Mangold and things got under way.

Now behold the first official piece of marketing for the X-Spin-Off, an image of a ripped to hell and back Hugh Jackman, looking like his secondary mutation is converting his entire body mass into pure sinew. It's a striking image, one I'm sure will make many a male geek feel inadequate and many a female geek feel... something else.

A young, popular and talented actress can’t go without a second-rate horror/thriller on their résumé; it’s got to happen at some point in their career. Unfortunately for Jennifer Lawrence, that time is now.
