New photos from Ridley Scott's highly anticipated Prometheus have surfaced, offering a closer look at what is set to be the sci-fi event of the summer.

666 nocertsAfter the death of his wife and child in fire, author Joseph Crone (Timothy Gibbs) travels to Barcelona to see his estranged brother and dying father, both former ministers who have alienated their congregations. Strangely, there's also the problem of ghostly apparitions showing up at 11:11pm outside their house and captured on video camera. As the days towards 11.11.11 tick away, Joseph becomes convinced that something evil comes his way.

This chiller from 'Splat Pack' writer-director and Saw veteran Darren Lynn Bousman is out on Monday 9 April and you can win one of three copies by entering our competition, below the jump.

Il BoomThis year is the 50th Anniversary of Italian comedy IL BOOM, by groundbreaking director Vittorio de Sica (Bicycle Thieves, Umberto D). To celebrate this, Studio Canal are releasing the film on DVD for the first time ever here in the UK on April 23rd and we have three copies to give away.

Giovanni (Alberto Sordi) lives far beyond his means to provide for his wife's bodily needs (Gianna Maria Canale). Nearly insolvent and terribly worried at the idea of losing his wife, he thinks of committing suicide when an ad gives him hope again: a rich man offers anyone able to give him one of his eyes a big amount of money.

The Black Mile

We’ve drawn the winners for our Black Mile competition – the first fifteen names out of the (virtual) sack have been notified. We’ve been blown away by the amount of entries – easily the most we have ever had. The success of the contest means we’re going to run another – and, since originality is not a strong point of ours, it’s going to offer the exact same prizes as the last one.

The winner will receive an overnight stay in The Soho Hotel, a funky hang-out slap bang in the middle of Soho (which is the setting for the novel). Runners-up will receive signed copies of the artwork for the novel (by the artist responsible for some of Bret Easton Ellis' UK covers), together with signed copies of Mark's previous novels.
