Okay, I ruined it with the picture, but apparently the person who is going to be the next singer to warble over the titles of a 007 film is Adele. This is much preferable to someone like N-Dubz, and I was scared that they might bring out Amy Winehouse's aborted attempt for the last one (not a fan, sorry), but if Iron Maiden aren't able to do it, I'm okay with Adele as I actually like her a lot. And I fancy her a bit, too.
This isn't confirmed, but she was on the Jonathan Ross TV show and apparently all but gave it away. She said:
"I'm going back in the studio in November, fingers crossed. But not to record an album, this is actually a theme, what I've got to do. Wow, I'm really giving something away ... It's one song." Ross then hummed the Bond theme (as written by Monty Norman and John Barry) and she gave him a 'OMG you just gave it away wait i did that lol' face.
Bond 23 will be directed by Sam Mendes and will star Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench, Naomi Harris and Javier Bardem, to be released in October 2012.
