There is no word on plot for either movies, but the announcement of a sequel to The Mechanic is surprising, as the movie flopped at the Box Office. Personally, I loved the film, and thought it was one of Statham's best since the Transporter trilogy (with the exception of the third film). Unlike The Expendables, it's difficult to imagine the plot, but hopefully it will be just as good as the original and Statham will sign on to star again.
