USA Today recently debuted the images online and, as expected from Verbinski, it looks like a gorgeous production. It should for the money it cost to make, but one thing that can be said about Verbinski: He puts every penny on the screen.

Depp reunites with Verbinski, after their work on the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and the Rango, a partnership with a 2:4 success rate but still more creatively satisfying than the last decades worth of Tim Burton/Johnny Depp joints.
Starring Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger and Johnny Depp as Tonto, the lavish Western also stars Helena Bonham Carter, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, Ruth Wilson and James Badge Dale.
Armie Hammer is set to appear on tomorrow night’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno to unveil the first trailer. Expect it to be lassoed by the internet in no time.
Despite its share of issues in pre-production and shooting, The Lone Ranger is riding hard towards the horizon of its 2013 release date.
