A very frightening new poster has been released for the upcoming horror film Sinister.

Here's the synopsis:

Found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home, though his discoveries put his entire family in the path of a supernatural entity.

The film has received largely positive feedback, and has a surprisingly good rating on IMDb (7.7/10) which is unusual for a movie of this genre.

The trailer was very gripping and has made sure I'm going to be seeing this film as soon as possible. This new poster is keeping with the same style as previous teasers and features the face of the supposed demon, or evil, that murders the families in the house.

Sinister is directed by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Day the Earth Stood Still) and stars Ethan Hawke and Clare Foley.  It is slated for release October 5th.
