Hocus Pocus - Sequel Horror

Somewhere in the deep dark pits of Hollywood, a virgin has lit a candle. How else can you explain the curse of a belated sequel/remake being released on the world?

Hocus Pocus 2 : Rise of the Elderwitch has been announced as the title of the upcoming something to one of the most treasured Halloween films of all time, causing young Thackery Binx to roll in his grave. Nearly twenty years after the original was released, we are being faced with the threat of a whole new cast of kids, and a lacklustre villain. Because really, who can match up to the Anderson sisters?

It will be neither remake, nor proper sequel; a vile hybrid of desperation and half-arsery, a horrid idea bound in the skin of a beloved title. I sincerely hope whoever commissioned this is subjected to the burning rain of death!

Now, sing it with me:

“Come little children, I’ll take thee away, Into a land of enchaaaaaantmeeeeent…”
