During a stressful day of work, Sandra, the middle-aged manager of a fast food restaurant, receives a phone call from a man claiming to be a police office, accusing Becky, a teenage employee, of stealing money from a customer's purse.
Complying to the voice's request, Sandra follows his orders and detains Becky in her office, beginning a nightmarish ordeal where respecting authority is taken to its horrific extremes.
On paper this would seem like an outlandish, unrealistic premise. Until you realise it is all real and, more than likely, the movie has likely toned down some of the true story's more disturbing details. Truth is certainly stranger than fiction.
Compliance looks like a gripping, uncomfortable experience. It has no UK release date set but we will keep you updated. I don't expect any fast food promotional tie-ins for this one.
