Vin Diesel Reveals A Riddick-ulous New Image

Riddick - Vin Diesel Top Slice

It's a good day for growly action heroes as Vin Diesel has taken to Facebook to share an image from the upcoming Riddick. The image doesn't reveal anything exceptional, but it's nice to see new images being released and the hype machine kicking into gear.

Riddick - Brand New Still - Vin Diesel

The synopsis sounds fun. Left for dead on a sun bleached planet, Riddick quickly finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal then any human he's encountered [just like Pitch Black]. The only way for Riddick to escape is to activate an emergency beacon, calling in the very mercenaries he was trying to escape. This mercenaries are a “new breed”, more lethal and violent than anyone Riddick has encountered before. [Just like Chronicles of Riddick]

While the storyline seems to be borrowing elements from earlier films in the series, I'm reserving judgement until I see a trailer.
