On a trip to Istanbul, Bryan Mills (Neeson) sees his wife (Famke Janssen, when did they get back together?) kidnapped by the vengeful father of one of his victims from the last movie. Now Bryan and his daughter, Kim (the eternally youthful Maggie Grace), must work together to save the day.
Assuming Bryan Mills has a vast selection of close friends, family and casual acquaintances, it looks like this franchise could run indefinitely. I eagerly await Taken 6, where Mills must rescue his accountant's au pair.
