Already starring Russell Crowe as the Biblical boat builder, Watson is in discussions to join him as Ila, a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah’s son, Shem, who will be played by Douglas Booth.
Noah’s other son, Ham, will then be played by Logan Lerman, who Watson is set to star alongside in the upcoming romance adaptation, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, which is set to be released later this year.
As for other casting; it was announced earlier this week that Ray Winstone is set to be play the film’s villain, and still to be cast is Noah’s wife, Naameth, for which Jennifer Connelly is said to be in talks for too.
Noah is scheduled to open in theatres around the US on 28th March 2014.
