Archibald Hall (aka Roy Fontaine) had a life of burglary, murder and dusting the shelves of rich people. Malcolm McDowell will star in the biopic entitled Monster Butler, charting his killings, relationships, thefts, more killings, some light dusting, and another killing.
Acting as David Wright, his former lover and the catalyst for Hall’s criminal lifestyle, is former Hobbit Dominic Monaghan. Gary Oldman will be playing one of Hall’s underworld acquaintances, and they join a cast which already includes Joanne Whalley (The Borgias).
The film will be released by Warner Bros, and I am frankly a tad disappointed it’s not a film about an actual monster manservant. But a murderer will have to do.
