Lost in The Multiplex

New 'This Is Forty' Poster Defies Personal Boundaries

15 May

Judd Apatow’s ‘sort of’ sequel to Knocked Up, This Is 40, has a new funny poster this week.

this is forty posterWith Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) reprising their roles from the original film to take the leads, the film picks up with the family a few years later when Pete’s music label is struggling and Debbie’s vanity business, a dress shop staffed by Desi (Megan Fox) and Jodi (Charlyne Yi), needs to help cover the household budget.

The new poster, which can be seen to the right (click to enlarge), shows how comfortable, not necessarily in a good way, the couple have become with their lives after years of marriage. I can’t wait to see more of the on-screen couple, it certainly looks promising.

Set to be released on 21st December, This Is 40 also stars Jason Segel in a brief cameo, Chris O’Dowd, Melissa McCarthy, John Lithgow, Lena Durham, Annie Mumolo, and Albert Brooks as Pete’s father.
