Chloe Moretz just can’t seem to get enough of horror films these days. After the US remake of vampire flick Let The Right One In and Tim Burton’s latest gothic horror Dark Shadows, Moretz is not only slated to play the lead in the Carrie remake but is now also in talks to play the titular role in upcoming zombie movie Maggie.
According to Variety, Maggie is set against the backdrop of a zombie apocalypse and primarily deals with a father's unconditional love for his daughter. Chloe Moretz would join Paddy Considine, who is currently in talks to play the father.
Written by John Scott 3, whose script made the 2011 Black List, Maggie will be directed by Henry Hobson and is scheduled to start production in September.
