20 Apr

A whopping 27 new images of Marvel’s Avengers Assemble have been released online this week, which include a look at How I Met Your Mother’s Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, the Hulk at his angriest, a lot of lasers, and the odd-looking antagonist Loki played by Tom Hiddleston.

Written and directed by Joss Whedon, Avengers Assemble continues the epic big-screen adventures started in Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger, when Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), finds himself in need of a team. Uniting Captain America (Chris Evans), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the team are ready to face an unexpected enemy that is threatening global safety and security.

Set to be released on 26th April, you can see a selection of new images below, for more see the gallery at Super Hero Hype:
