#MTOS! What is it? What does it stand for? What's with the criss-cross thing?

Well folks, #MTOS is a film discussion that takes place on Sunday nights (UK Time) on Twitter. It stands for - drum roll please - Movie Talk On Sundays. As for the criss-cross thing, they were a terrible music act in the 90s that wore their jeans backwards.

World of the Dead The Zombie Diaries 2 is the follow up movie to Zombie Diaries, and the second credit for this writer/director partnership. Perhaps the world doesn't need another zombie-movie, but, then again, there are plenty of fans of the genre out there looking for fresh brains to feast on.

Mike Bartlett and Kevin Gates are two fresh filmmakers with plenty of ambition and their best years ahead of them. They spoke with Lost in the Multiplex about the challenges of collaboration; influences; the challenges of low-budget productions; and the best way to survive an undead invasion. So, grab a chain-saw and stay close as we charge headlong into a zombie apocalypse.

There's no point getting Bobby RADA to play a crackhead when I can just get Jimmy the crackhead to smoke some crack.

Nick Nevern had practically no money when he set out to make Terry and yet he's produced a fresh and convincing take on the gangster flick. Not everyone will like it, but it's hard to dispute the strong acting, authentic dialogue and a sense of what it must be like to find yourself very much on the wrong side of the streets.

Plex met him in a West London pub to talk about rearranging the shelves in HMV, and why it's always best to cast a crack addict if you want someone to smoke crack in your film.

Lost in the Multiplex was invited to a Blogger's Round Table to celebrate the release of Your Highness, the new comedy featuring the comic talents of Danny McBride, Justin Theroux and Ras Hardiker and featuring a faintly ridiculous array of talent: James Franco, Natalie Portman, Charles Dance, Damien Lewis, Toby Jones.

Danny and Ras regaled representatives of the blogosphere with tales of derring do and derring don't over a bevy of delicious Badger beers supplied by Dorset brewery Hall and Woodhouse. Plex went home late and not looking forward to the hangover he knew he was going to suffer the morning after.
