Dallas King
Dallas spent 8 years managing an art house cinema in Aberdeen but now he is focusing his time on film journalism in an effort to become Scotland's answer to Mark Kermode. He is also a two-time winner of the Empire magazine Bastard Hard Movie Quiz so is a handy guy to have on your pub quiz team.
Following the £45 million success of The Inbetweeners Movie last year, it was inevitable that other UK comedy programmes would want a bite of the cherry and so now we are subjected to a feature length big screen outing for Leigh Francis' Leeds lothario Keith Lemon.

It's time... to face... the music... as Rock of Ages hits us with its best shot, making the leap from the theatre to the silver screen. It has much in common with the hugely successful Mamma Mia (not a compliment) with the filmmakers praying the audience will have such a great time listening to bad karaoke versions of classic songs it will keep them from noticing that the film has little-to-no plot at all.
At the age of 77, Woody Allen remains one of Hollywood's most prolific writer/directors, producing a film ever year... take that Terrence Malick! He's also notoriously publicity-shy but Curb Your Enthusiasm director Bob Weide has managed to get unparalleled access and the result is an affectionate tribute to Allen's long career from stand-up comic to filmmaker - unfortunately, it is also one that shies away from asking the really tough questions that could have made for a truly interesting film.
