It's been a big week for set-photos – with The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past leaking online – now it's Captain America's turn. The sequel sees the Captain (Chris Evans) team up with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) to track down the despicable Bucky Barnes a.k.a. The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Shan) in present day Washington, D.C.

Prepare yourselves for more quick-witted humour with dashing of James Bond and Michael Caine impersonations; the largely improvised mini-series - starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon as fictionalised versions of themselves – is to get a sequel.

We have already heard tell of Joss Whedon's plans to introduce Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, alias Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, into The Avengers 2. He has plans for the characters and the way they will impact the core team, it seems like a well thought out, character-focused approach. Marvel are not in the habit of throwing out endless superhero cameos to pad out their movie, they choose wisely and have proven themselves keenly interested in putting character first.

It seemed only right to cap our Fast & Furious franchise retrospective off with a special, extensive review for the latest entry and how I feel it fits into the series. There will be mild spoilers but nothing earth-shaking will be revealed.

A stunning new poster for Catching Fire, the second installment of The Hunger Games series, has been released by Lionsgate. It depicts a very different Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) to the previous film. Katniss is standing on top of a mountain, holding her signature bow and arrow with the mocking jay cleverly disguised in the clouds within the background. I'm sure everyone would agree, it's a pretty powerful image, promising a riveting film to come.

The new trailer for The Wolverine covers a lot of similar ground to the previous one, but there are some interesting additions that elevate it above your standard hack-n-growl Wolverine trailer.

With The Incredibles becoming the highest selling DVD in 2005 (17.38 million copies), a sequel must have been in everyone's minds from the beginning. Brad Bird, the film's director, expressed an interest to do an Incredibles 2 back in 2007 but his fear of not living up to expectations held him back. Bird wanted a sequel that paralleled the likes of Toy Story 2.
