The Devil's Double

We've been given some rather lovely prizes for the superb Devil's Double, a tense, terrifying and explosive gangster tour de force starring Dominic Cooper (Captain America, An Education). The film is released on DVD and Blu-ray on 26 December 2011 by Icon Home Entertainment.

Based on an unbelievable but true story, the film relates a world beyond the wildest dreams of power, sex and money and the worst nightmares of violence and betrayal. With an incredible performance of two extremes from Cooper, this is a fearless, high-octane film and not for the faint hearted.

Devil DoubleBaghdad 1987. Latif (Cooper) is taken to see his former schoolmate Uday (also played by Cooper), eldest son to Saddam Hussein. Latif is told that a great honour had been bestowed upon him: because of the great likeness between them, he has been chosen to be Uday's body double. Trapped, tortured and fearful for the safety of his family Latif has no choice but to comply. He is forced to become part of Uday’s world, witnessing the horror of his insane life of gangsters and pimps. It is a world entrenched in betrayal and corruption, and an experience for which he almost pays with his life on more than one occasion.

Both DVD and Blu-ray include a commentary by director Lee Tamahori, (Die Another Day, Next, xXx 2) a ‘Making of’ featurette, interviews with Latif Yahia and Dominic Cooper and highlights of the UK premiere.

We have a merchandise bag (with all kinds of goodies in it) and three copies of the film.

To win? We are looking for my body double - if you look like me, and are prepared to sit in on some of the more banal production meetings at Plex Towers, you might have a chance. Take a picture of yourself, as me, and send it to us at our twitter address: @lostintheplex (NB: You can skip the production meetings - wouldn't wish that on anyone...)

Other prizes are available for those who don't have easy access to cheap headscarfs. Follow us at @lostintheplex and retweet our competition message. Four lucky winners will be chosen and that's that - good luck!
